EN AW 8030
BS EN 1715-2:2008
Cables of AA8030 series are widely used for transmission of electricity in various economic sectors. Conductors of such a type are 30-50 % cheaper than copper analogs. Use on connections is as safe as copper wiring. The company received the product (Aluminum rod of Alloy 8030), with the necessary elecromechanical properties according to European standard EN AW – 8030. For receiving elecromechanical properties of the wire according Canadian Standard CAN/CSA C22/2, the company has selected heat-treatment modes.
Characteristics and description
- Wire rod is supplied in bundles as an undivided piece weighing 600-2,000 kg.
- It is wound into bundles without crowding, sticking of the coils. Winding should be tight.
- Wire rod diameter is 9.5 mm (±0.3 mm).
Bundle overall dimensions
-
Height – 870±20 mm; inner diameter – 560±20 mm; outer diameter – 1,260±20 mm
